When Auto Racing Turns to Boxing; Lessons Learned

Auto racing is a spectacular sport and for any of us who have done any type of auto racing whether it be on the track or off the track illegal street racing, we know that the adrenaline is high and so are the stakes. The most aggressive men enjoy not only watching auto racing but participating in it also. But what happens when auto racing turns into a knock out drag out fight? Well it just shows how intense that auto racing is.

Of course those politically correct parents do not want to discuss the reality of the human competitive spirit and so they condemn any racer activity in sanctioned racing as poor sportsmanship. However, having previously raced street bikes and also been a high-performance track star, I can tell you this and that is the often those who cannot perform will go out of their way to cheat. In racing I have been hit by other drivers, riders and athletes as they have tried to bump me off the track.

It is at this point that the sportsmanship turns into assault with a deadly weapon, vehicular manslaughter or assault and battery on the track. Thus often off the track the bar room fight scene taken into the parking lot then occurs. In racing everyone is so very into the game and when someone feels slighted or cheated out of their victory; additional events will occur. So, consider all this in 2006.
